Good day to you fine sirs and/or madams. For my first post on this lovely forum I would like to address an issue that I have been facing with the game Megaman X4. The game itself runs flawlessly, but it seems to not be able to play the animated cutscenes, whether it be the intro or in game cutscenes. Could any of you good chaps offer some assistance on the matter?

What format is your game? and what size is it?

Have you downloaded it, or did you make it yourself ? (since for some downloaded iso, curscenes are simply removed to make small iso)

Well kind sir, the file is in Bin/Cue format, and is 578,338 KB. I have downloaded the rom from (shhhhhhhhtttt !!! -FrenchAddict edited ) , but i can assure you that i own an original copy, but i do not posses a disk drive at the moment, as it is in for repairs. The cutscenes work fine on epsxe however, so i doubt they were removed.

What happens during cutscenes? Black screen, or does it just skips to the next part of the game?

Well good chap, it will just skip over to the next part of the game you know. Very strange indeed I must say.

you should try another iso, sometimes, an iso perfectly working on a PC emulator, is not "pure" enough for Fpse

Well, fine sir, my dvd drive has been returned to my humble abode, so I proceeded to rip the iso from the disc only to discover the same problem.

could you download pocketIso (from Fpse forum, or just google for it), analyse the iso with it and tell me the result of the analysis?

So cutscenes are there (11 videos found) but they don't display....

I'm going to try to get this game, it's kinda unusual not to see videos
