 Status=, Enable_HLE=, Flags0=
I've read through multiple gamelist.ini threads, but haven't seen any that specify what the values of Status=, Enable_HLE=, or Flags0= are/do. I know the new supporter version has Flags0=80 for the overclock function. I also know that there is an option to enable HLE in fpse.ini, but it only has 0 or 1. I would presume that Enable_HLE can be blank, 0, 1, 2, and maybe more. Also, my understanding is that Patch=48 is the same as High_Res_Boot_Fix=1 and Frame_Skip_Mode=1 in fpse.ini. So, how do you know if Status should be 2? How do you know if Enable_HLE should be 2? How do you know if Flags0 should be 7? I would have assumed that these were just static settings, but I've seen different numbers for different games. JJ

 Re: Status=, Enable_HLE=, Flags0=
first , EnableHLE cen be set to 'on' or 'off' only, HLE, mean High Level Emulation, this mean that most of all used System Call are emulated, no bios is necessary in that maner. EnableHLE)on can make games that use system call much faster, but SaveState won't work, because HLE context is not saved, this is a new feature that will be implemented soon, but savestate format will change a bit...
Flag0 is mainly used to activate somes recompiler options to get boost, but those options can create somes incompatibility ,that's why it must be used with attention...
Don't use High_Res_Boot_Fix=1 or Frame_Skip_Mode=1 or like options within fpse.ini, just use it in gamelist.ini with the line Patch=
Patch=16 means that games with 480 pixels or 512 pixels in high will be draw in 240 or 256 in high within PSone video buffer, this mean the 3D rastering will be use 50% less cpu... GFX are less clear, but who care, games are lot faster, and using GDI stretch blitting smooth image.
Patch=32 means that games which are synchronized to VBL and not VBL counter won't be stucked to VBL, Frameskipping as well as Overclock will have effects on game speed, without this Patch those game won't be faster...

 Re: Status=, Enable_HLE=, Flags0=
Thanks for the reply, Struck. I figured one of our peers would have answered. Quote: first , EnableHLE cen be set to 'on' or 'off' only, HLE, mean High Level Emulation, this mean that most of all used System Call are emulated, no bios is necessary in that maner. EnableHLE)on can make games that use system call much faster, but SaveState won't work, because HLE context is not saved, this is a new feature that will be implemented soon, but savestate format will change a bit... I'm referring to Enable_HLE=2 in gamelist.ini. Quote: Flag0 is mainly used to activate somes recompiler options to get boost, but those options can create somes incompatibility ,that's why it must be used with attention... Ok, but what numbers are available to use and what do those numbers represent? Some things are Flag0=7, so I'm guessing there are, at least, blank-7. Is there any information on Status=? My understanding is that some things are unknown throwbacks from the original fpse, so maybe some of these things are that way. JJ

 Re: Status=, Enable_HLE=, Flags0=
Exuse me... I'm referring to Status_HLE=. I thought it was Enable_HLE= on the older version, but I could be wrong. JJ

 Re: Status=, Enable_HLE=, Flags0=
enableHLE can only be on or off, so 0 or 1
doubleJ, you are right, it was enableHLE=on or off, I have to verify if it's now 0 or 1 ^^
Anyway, excepted if I need to find the license number of a game, I never use HLE
