PS3 controller for fpsece....yay!

just trying this, it works but the buttons are'nt right at the moment, probably me not setting it up properly.... but its a good start.

I don't own a PS3 (360 fan).

are all the buttons working correctly for you? might need to start again, i can only use the following:
L1=right
O=left
X=down
Square=start
start=X
R2=up

is this the same for you i900?
installed on a windows 7 laptop, wonder if thats were i've gone wrong?

there was something weird, I could easily set up/down/left/right, then X/square/round/triangle....

Then something I had seen before with the MSI and the omnia happend: when I wanted to set the other buttons, it was just like if a button was kept pressed, it gave the 071 value even before I pushed any button
Happened sometimes with the MSI, just had to put it off and on again, or sometimes reset the phone, to get it working again (did not have time to try )

But having direction and the 4 main action buttons is already great, and I even suppose I may set the others next time I'll try (I've just tried once, will try againb later)

did you set the buttons via the pc/winds3 program, or via fpsece? i keep getting the 071 value on fpsece too, so my buttons are still messed up!
can you post how you set up the buttons please, ...i'm being a right noob!

EDIT: after repairing again with WINDS3 on my PC I can now map all the buttons.....YAY!... i'm sooooo happy this is now fully working.

Still love to know what the 071 value means and why it happens but this is super cool, also sussed why my games were'nt saving in the supporter version (got to save with the in-game save options and everythings good) ..... I'm now very happily going for my A-Licence again on Gran Turismo......happy days!!

how did u do that? or what did u change?

this is what i did,

use win3ds, make controller with master thing,
then use sixpair and make the master addres to my bleutoot of my phone
shut down win3ds and sixpair and run cobalt at your phone,

and still my keypad is fucked up like someone above said ,

do u have an ini file for me or could u tell me how i could put the good buttons on it?

As I wrote in the general discussion post,

After a few test, one or two things I've noticed (at least on my HD2):

-if you get the "71 syndrom", just reboot your phone or it will remain
-Never try to set L1/R1, L2/R2 or you'll have the "71 syndrom"
-always configure X, square, triangle, round, left, right, up, down, select, start (whatever the order) and STOP, don't touch L/R
-When starting FpseCE, it asks you to chose the controller, you may want to add a new one beside the MSI BGP100 and so select the PS3 controller, then it says it failed=> that's bullshits, it works

After a few games, I start believing it's even better tahn the MSI BGP100 on my HD2 or Omnia, or the USB gamepads I was using with my Toshiba TG01, maybe it's just the "real PSX gamepad" feeling
