FPSEce Complete How To Guide

FPSEce Complete How To Guide is an open project for people of this forum to make One Big Guide with all the How to's we can collect.
It contains many Tips&Tricks, How-Tos and explanations to help new and unexperiented members of FPSEce community. If You are interested in joining just PM one of current members.

Good stuff. When I finish the current iteration of the readme, I'll be more that happy to chip in if you want.

Cloud if you want we can merge it. I started it as seperate thing because I thought you wouldnt want to. I thought you wanted to make it as small and simple as possible. If not It would be great if we could get your documentation in this guide =) its called Complete for a reason right? xD

Well, like you said, I have all the technical stuff in the readme. I like the idea of keeping this guide n00b-friendly. I'll pm you my email in a minute. Feel free to take sections out of the existing readme for use in this, I'll add any extra stuff at some when I'm done here.

Hey Cloud, nice to see you back. I thought I'd ask, are you doing a section in the Readme about editing the .ini, if so I'll remove the section in the How to I've added. Or alter it to include the new settings menu, or perhaps a link to the .ini editing tool posted on the forum if you aren't covering it.

I'm going to include the settings menu, and list what all used functions of the ini do. I'm not going to go into much detail on how to edit the ini, just that you can open it with notepad or something.
I'm also not mentioning the config editing utility because it comes as a standalone product, not as part of FpseCE.

will a pocketIso tutorial be part of this (what a great idea!) complete how to guide?

Never thought of that. Listen guys, why not take some of the information from the tutorials page in 'support'? There's PocketISO, CloneCD, MSI gamepad, etc.

There totally will be at least reference to it. The plan is do really everything thats related to FPSEce. We are mostly waiting for you to finish up your documentation Cloud, so we dont have to type what you have already done =)

I think SciLors WinMoBlue app would be a good addition too, for people that have old phones like the Kaiser.
