New Droid X User - Help! - Can't get ISOs to work + Extra
Hi all,
I just downloaded FPSe yesterday and am pumped to get my old PSX favorites up and running. I downloaded a scph10001.bin file as well as FFVII iso, disk 1 of 3 (From no link to illegal download-FrenchAddict edited). When I select the bios in settings, it says "Bios Loading" along with the address to the folder, but it never says loaded. Don't know if that's okay but i saved the default config with it "loading" anyways. Yet when I go to load an ISO from FPSe, and search the folder where I DL'ed FFVII, the app just can't find it. I can't load a thing. I've been searching on the forum for a few days and haven't been able to find the answer.
Also, is PocketISO not available for Android yet? I'd really like to use an app (Like RomGripper for Genesis games) that downloads and searches for game ISO's all in one place. If it's not available for android, what do you recommend for downloading ISO's? All I really want are FFVII, VIII, IX, and a few others.
Can anyone please help? Thanks for your time in advance!
Andrew

PocketIso is not a tool to download iso, it's a tool to compress iso, especially rip XAstreams and AudioTracks to MP3 which are easier to decode and take less CPU ressources. You can also rip video to get a really smaller iso
If you can't see your iso in Fpse file explorer, it's maybe because it's the wrong format. Fpse supports .iso .bim and .img (also .ZNX made by pocketIso but without any music so far)
Please, don't give any link to illegal download here, Fpse doesn't support illegal downloads (that's why I've deited your previous message)

Re: New Droid X User - Help! - Can't get ISOs to work + Extr
So the ff7 file came as a .rar file. I extracted it using winrar and it was then a large .bin.ecm file. I used an unecm.exe thing which turned the file into a simple .bin file on my desktop, then transfered it to my droid. FPSe recognizes the .bin file when I search for it on the load iso screen, but when I press it FPSe simply closes. If I log in, restart, then select the ff7 .bin file, it force closes every time. Could I get some help? Do I need to compress the .bin file or something?
Could someone give me a step by step way to get an iso to play? (or link me the thread).
Thanks again

I'm running it on a Droid X too and I just used Imgburn to create the image file and it saved as a .bin on my desktop. Just move it over to your DX and it'll work great. Also check to make sure your sd card (if that's where you saved it) is not still mounted on your computer. If it is then the phone doesn't have access to it and won't be able to even see it.
Hope it helps.

I use unecm.exe on the desktop to get the bin/cue files, then pocket iso on desktop to compress, then transfer like you said!
Thanks for the help! I've got it working by doing most of the work on the desktop and transferring the .bin/cue files over afterwards.
