Xbox Elite S2 Gamepad Diagonal Analog Issue

The emulator is working great and detects my Xbox Elite Series 2 without issue.

The problem I'm having is with the 4 corners (diagonal axes) of the joystick. All other directions work perfectly and I can get full speed movement but the 4 diagonals have a point where there appears to be a massive dead zone and movement is reduced.

For example, I'm playing Parasite Eve. Aya can run up, down, left, and right without issue. The diagonal areas close to U/D/L/R work and allow Aya to run. The area exactly between U/R, U/L, D/R, and D/L, however, only allow Aya to walk. I hope that makes sense.

I'm wondering if there's any way to fix these dead zones as it makes it tough to avoid attacks when you suddenly start walking.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry about the late response. I think so, but I'm not 100% sure. Everything seems to work perfectly except the diagonal axis.
