 songs / music doesnt work on games, but sound effects do?

Post songs / music doesnt work on games, but sound effects do?
I use unpakk iso software to decompress games off the internet, the .ape files are turned into .bin files but the game songs dont play (ridge racer 1 , firebugs) but sound fx do work, anything I can do?
