Post nhl 2001 crashing
Hey all:

I am trying to play nhl 2001 and I can get the game to load and get it set up so it runs 45-50 fps but it crashes back to home screen randomly. usually around 2-3 minutes after starting. I was so hyped to see schtruck bring this app to android as fpsece was the ONLY thing keeping me clinging to wm6.5 but am pretty bummed that this game doesn't work. I'ts by far my favorite ps1 game. I got it to run on psx4droid v 1.7 without sound and with froyo but it only ran well with that version. the others were horrible. and I am running a gingerbread rom now with which v 1.7 is not compatable so no joy there either. Does any1 have the same crashing problem as me or have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
My specs are below:

tmous Hd2 running hyperdroid 2.3.3 nand rom
1ghz no overclock.

fpse

I have tried
bios mode/hle mode
sound off/on
spu sync on/off
fs- none, 25, 35, 45, 50
frame limiter on/off
fastboot on/off
fast overlay drawing on/off
4/3 centered, full screen
mdec off/on
gte off/on

Edit: I checked the fpselog and there was an error for insufficient recompiler heap. I read in another thread here that schtruck changed this to 5mb in version .12 i think. is it possible to to make the heap any bigger?
