loading cheats

What is the proper way to load cheats. There's isn't any clear instructions. When I first load fpse it shows all the cheats for gt2 but I can't load them. What do I need to to.
if you check help, you'll see it's well written you must select the frequency before leaving the cheat menu.
SO check the cheats you want to Apply, go back then cheat settings and set frequency at least to one per frame (coz 1 time usually does not works). and return to game.
