Recommended settings and tips for Nvidia Shield Portable

Postby cloudfe » Wed Mar 25, 2015 5:27 pm

Hello, I'm new to the forum, hope I'll fit in right away :D
I'm about to put my hands on an Nvidia Shield Portable, and I can't wait to emulate my old psx games, but I'm having a hard time finding precise informations regarding the best settings for FPse on this machine. I know every game has different settings to work at its best, but since the Portable is such a particular machine I was wondering if you have any suggestion to make the most of it when using FPse.

Thank you :)

Sorry, I'm using a Nexus 7.

What I have found found is that each game has it's own particular settings so it's difficult to offer up some 'general' best settings to use. Give each game a little configuration time and you'll get the best out of this program I think.

Nvidia shield, Nexus 7 2012, both run extremely well in OpenGL high definition, they are extremely smooth and the opengl driver is very accurate, this mean PS emulation is the best on Nvidia chipset. Tegra3, Tegra 4, K1 or X1, all these chipset run FPse extremely well in High definition. My old Nexus 7 2012 running lollipop is able to run any game full speed and smoothly with FPse in high definition.
