Loading Games via Mounted CIFS Share in /mnt/cifs

Postby nightStorm1000 » Wed Feb 25, 2015 10:57 pm

Hi.
I have setup a Network Share to my NAS wich holds all my PS1 Games.
But the Problem is that for whatever reason, it is not possible for me to mount the CIFS Share to the Internal Memory. The Mount itself is successful but the folder is empty once i try to Load a game. The only way to see the games is to remount the Share while FPse is running in the Background. But once I restart FPse the shares a gone. Same Problem with many other Apps to. But they had the possibility to Browse back to /

So I have to Mount it to /mnt/cifs. There all the other apps can read the share without a Problem.
But FPse can not go to /

Is there a way to make this possible?

I need to check that but if your device is rooted you can change the default scan directory from shared_prefs.xml file you ll find into

/data/data/com.emulator.fpse/shared_prefs.

Thanks! That worked.

I changed

Code: Select all

com.emulator.fpse.oldpath

to

Code: Select all

<string name="com.emulator.fpse.oldpath">/mnt</string>

and now i can select the Games from my Share under "Select Games"
Maybe made an Option that to toggle that?

Other Question. How can I remove Previously Scanned Games? The old Paths arent correct anymore
