Problem setting up Gametel bluetooth controller

Please help?
I have the above controller which I am trying to use with Colin McRae 2.0 and Tiger woods golf, i can get all the direction buttons to work and all the other buttons EXCEPT the 'X' button!!!
Any advise would be great from anyone who has had this problem, i have followed the help guide from within the app but 'X' button wont work.
The controller has no faults as it works perfectly with Virtua Tennis.
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Nexus running stock 4.3
