How to make all games use same hardware keys mapping?

Postby Elwood » Sun Jan 20, 2013 12:11 am

Hello!

I'm using an usb gamepad (a dualshock 2 clone, mapped via the usb/bt joystick center app) on S3 int, jellybean 4.1(or 4.12... can't remember;)
The problem is: I can setup the gamepad in fpse settings, but everytime I start a game for the first time, the settings seem to be reset and I must re-map all keys again. The next time I run the game the gamepad is working ok, as if a profile existed for that game. The same thing happens with every iso. Changes made to mapping before starting a game are lost.

btw - the mapping process is a pain, cause you can't see what gets mapped to the buttons/axes.

Go to gamepad settings from main menu, set it all up
Then go to MISC->Save default config
Doing so will make their settings apply to all _new_ games launched
If you want to make all games use it, reset settings in MISC menu first, this will delete settings for all the games you've launched previously, keeping saves
