Cant get roms to work on my samsung galaxy s

Q.No matter what i try i cant get any roms to work on my samsung galaxy s ive tried everything. Ive installed the bios and ripped image from my game cd even tried downloading the the same roms.When i click on the rom name it goes to black screen like its bout to load but nothing.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanx and oh also i dont know if ive posted this question in the right place on this forum so if any help for the best response would be also appreciated.

First of all thanx for the prompt reply.Ive tried running ffviii and resident evil nemesis on the emulator in all kinds ov formats bin, img, iso, eboot, z. I've been leaving it on the blank screen for upto five minutes but still nothing. And about the settings i havnt really messed about with them just incase it makes the problem even worse.

Ive tried clonecd and imgburn from my actual game discs, tried turning spu sync on but now it just keeps saying hle enabled no bios set even though hle isnt ticked and ive got bios set lol

Managed to get that msg off but had a tinker round with the settings but still exactly the same!

I bought all my final fantasys from a game shop brand new so they all should be pal shouldnt they?

Tried my pal version of ff7 through clonecd then pocketiso exactly as the guide said wen it had finished it gave me a winrar img file and img z table file dragged them over to my sd card for emulator but still nothing but black screen .

FFVIII is protected, you need to apply a patch that can be found on the net.
