The ini file says the sound plugin is based on peops which is fine for almost any game(with the exception of at least umjammer lammy which only works with Eternal SPU 1.5 on the windows psx emus). Traditionally cd audio is the responsibility of the cd plugin which is just feeding the decoded data into the spu ram.
Hell i didnt even realise there was a 1.5. Even something similar to that Eternal SPU 1.4 equivilant would be a decent sound input.
Wasnt sure what kind of sound the emulator was using though and was wondering it it would ever be upgraded so thought id open the thread. Wopuld be awesome for games like Music 2000 that absolutely need the better sound plugins to hear even half of the sounds. It would be a nice update if it ever comes along.
Yeah iirc 1.5 was a beta. I found it on the ngemu forums somewhere a while back trying to figure out how to get umjammer to work. It'd be nice to be able to play that and say... vib ribbon, but oh well On the other hand, you can at least clean up the sound a little by hand editing the ini file, turn on reverb and filtering.
