I pushed an update to this BETA due to a bug on Keyboard support (i implemented silently on thie beta) which made somes hardware pads crashing, like Nvidia Sheld, now it's fixed. Not all Keyboard will work, only those which send Down code when pressing key and Up code when Releasing key. (coz somes keyboards send Down and UP when pressing and nothing when releasing...)

thanks for your feedbacks

The new OpenGL works well on Adreno , Nvidia and i have no idea for SGX but i suppose it should works well too. The global optimisation for ARMV7 cpu make anyway audio and video plugins much faster on all my devices.

Can crop mode be added to the special screen size menu?

Stretching a image really kills it. Cropping would be really nice to fit the 4:3 image on our widescreen devices.

OK new Beta nd the last until new release:

FPse 0.11.136 BETA 3:
- Updated Chinese and Portuguese languages and added Chinese FAQs (thx to Zju&Bruno)
- Fixed Plugins download with somes 3G/4G connection
- Fixed Multi touch hardware and onscreen mapping
- Optimised FPse and plugins for ARMV7 cpu's, good boost
- Updated OpenGL plugin , much faster for Adreno processors
- Added Precise Screen size resizing for Soft mode and HD soft mode, from Misc - Video submenu - and Ratio in Percentage

Is the cropping center, top or lower?, I think lower crop would be best since most games stored their subtitle text on the lower portion of the screen, the top portion in most games is redundant for anything gameplay related other than health bars, inventory navigation.

It s not a crop function but more a stretch to find perfect original 4/3 proportion as there is so many devices that it s difficult to find the perfect size.

So can we scale up to a maximum of 1280% aka 4K?
my device should be able to scale up to 500% 1600x1200 in immersize mode on my 1920*1200 screen or will it
stretch it to 6:5? if 320*240 is considered 1:1.

Devices prior to kitkat suffer the worst not being able utilise the immersize mode / navbar screen estate, the best they have is lights out mode, how are you going to handle these devices?, is their any rooted app / framework hack workaround to minimize the navbar? you'd also need a extra onscreen touch button to get back into fpse menu or use something like button saviour to drag out the navbar when needed.

Hi Schtruck,

Im having an issue with the newer version of fpse where with previous version Valkyrie Profile played great. Now theres an issue with the game freezing on the audio segments in the game where the characters have voice parts with the words and the voice are going on and then it freezes. I use titanium backup and I have FPSE 0.11.129 and that version works great for me except then I get the license check error. Now valkyrie profile played great with that older version. So im asking you is there a way i can just use the old version without the license check error and or what has changed from that version to this newer version that would cause an issue with the audio parts in the video game. Do you think it could be a plugin issue? im just trying to figure out how to have the newer version but with the audio setup of version fpse 0.11.129.

A great news for all devices with Snapdragon inside. The new experimental plugin will boost everything to up to 300%.
On snapdragon s800:
Tombraider 3 run at 122 fps ! Tekken 3 65 fps. Crash bandicoot series full speed ! Most of all games full speed!!

Stay tunned I prepare a new beta within somes hours.
