External pad. Sorry I was in a rush when I wrote that, was heading to work.

I'm using a sixaxis controller via the sixaxis software. I tried adjusting settings within both fpse and the sixaxis software, it made no difference.

Ok. Are L2 and R2 working alone?

Yes, they work.

Infact if I press R2, and then push right (or L2 then left) it's okay... It's when pushing them simultaneously that the problem occurs.

Is it with directional buttons or analog stick?

Directional buttons... But let me do some more testing.

Seems to just be the directional buttons that have this issue... Odd.

Also just realised that it's actually X + R2 + Right, or X + L2 + Left... As you need to hold down X to accelerate in that game... I try testing another Wipeout game, see if this is just an issue with Wipeout 3.

Hi Schtruck,

Just tested the new beta you sent which should have fixed the external controller issue.

It's still not fixed, but instead of nothing happening when I push R2 + right or L2 + left, the R2/L2 buttons work, but the left/right directional buttons seem to get blocked out. Pushing R2 and then pushing right works. If I push R2 + right and then let go of R2, the right directional button remains blocked though.

I've tried adjusting controller settings in both fpse and the sixaxis controller software, it made no difference.

So it is slightly improved, but still buggy.

can you tell me if you are in Analgo Mode or in Digital Mode?

I tried only using Xbox360 controllers and this work well, i should try using PS3 now.
