I tested the 149 version. It was awesome at first! The HD Soft was super fast. But then, after some changes which I have made in the emulator, it became slow. I changed it back to default settings, restarted the emulator, restarted the cellphone, deleted FPse and reinstalled it, and nothing restored the fast initial speed...

Good work on the performance and changes, was awesome while it lasted, but I can't get that speed back no matter what I do. It's strange.

And why doesn't Frameskip work in HD Soft mode? Only Old Frameskip. The normal Frameskip makes the battle menu in FF8 blink non stopping. But it makes the game super fast again! Super smooth...

This is the snapdragon effect.... S800 S801 S805 have thermal sensor and the CPU is too agressive when it get hot... on S805 it's better than the previous one but it's still very annoying.

For example if you compress ISOS, this take much cpu bandwidth and phone get hot quickly. try to run FPse after and you'll see much differences, if you your phone is rooted you can run a CPU manager tool to see the frequency and you'll be surprised because you buyed a 2,3ghz processor and no!, it run at only 1ghz! this mean CPU is more than twice less slower and that the same for the memory frequency and the GPU....on Note 3 you have to wait 5-10 minutes to recover normal temp and normal frequencies, on Note 4 it's much faster, perhaps 2 minutes and even less.

that why Tegra and Exynos are much better, they don't have this thermal problem. if i had to make a choice actually i'd take the Note 4 exynos and not the Note 4 Snapdragon...

Thats very interesting Schtruck. I will see if the initial speed will get back to normal after. And yes I compressed my FF8, I will redownload it. Can I force it to be back to normal with any program? Yes I'm rooted with towelroot.

This Snapdragon is pure marketing shit, for sure next time I will get the other model.

Besides, I found a bug with the new HD Soft in Chrono Cross. Look at the letters:

Nice. And you are right, I compressed my FF8. Will redownload it and see if there's any difference.

the problem is not the file compressed, but the compression which make device getting hot, you just need to wait 5 minutes and it will get cooler and freq will be ok.

Unfortunately my frequency didn't come back since yesterday night. I waited here but nothing changed. Man Snapdragon sucks...

Well I'll turn off the device for 5 minutes in my lunch time. Release the battery and then put it back after this time, and see if something changes.

ok, i made some investigations and found that the last NDK is really cheaty and bugged, i rolledback to my own compiler pack and FPse is much faster... so i will release a new version more compatible and faster...
