Hi, things are more or less running great on all games at the moment so well done and good stuff! I have just tried v-rally 2 for the first time and the actual graphical engine runs great. The game loads fine but when you get to test a car it's kind of crazy.....the controls become mixed up. The controls work fine in the menus but in game left obese the d-pad becomes look back, right is turnright and none of the other buttons work. Perhaps this could be looked into?

First of all, sorry if i am breaking any rules by posting an help request here.
I am experiencing some issues i cannot explain or fix even after browing this forum and xda in the last few days.
I am actually playing Final Fantasy VII on my Galaxy Nexus with the 0.11.69 bought in the Play Store. Since the first run i noticed this gray screen on FMVs, but after playing with the settings and discover the OpenGL options, i don't know how, but i fixed it and improved the game quality.
This until the next launch of FPse, these settings were totally gone.

With these option enabled i am getting this: http://i.imgur.com/YzAYK.png
(Sorry if i am not exactly quoting the options but i have set Italian and i don't want to reset again the App)

-Show FPS (~49-50 during FMV)
-Original screen size
-OffScreenDrawing
-32Bits rendering
-Anti Aliasing
-Polygon cache G4
-FF7 cursor fix

After enabling "Frame buffer direct access" i got this: http://i.imgur.com/Gclwc.png

Could the problem be solved by enabling the 60 FPS Framelimiter? Which i cannot enable it, it keeps on stay "auto" when the game is running AND after clicking "back" to return to the previous menu, it shows the cheats menu.. (Bug?), otherwise if i enable it when the game is not running it ends in crash(restart?) the App.

I also tried Low profile and 1-5 Priority.

Thanks everyone who will help to solve my problem!

The gray fmv bug on ff7.
Looks like the savestate bug.

Recommend you to load the game up first.
Load memorycard up.
Then load the savestate u made.

Should correct your problem
Catch ya later

I got an idea...

Why not to add a benchmark suite to fpse, software and 3D emulation speed? It could ease up device charts, and compare if one has ROM driver problems with comparing with others and helping to evaluate a device too. And also make some sort of index of raw horsepower needed to run the needed game.

Schtruck - NFS High Stakes loads fine and you can access all menus but then crashes when loading a race....this is on openGL setting. Maybe it is something straight forward? As the cars are rendered fine on car select screen.

Hi Friends,

I'm new to Fpse and also to Android . I do own an Halmark RK702 7' Tabletrunning Android 4.0.4 . I can run Fpse, boot Bios SCPH1001.bin but as soon as I try to load an ISO ( Devil Dice or Atari Collection ), it brings me to a kind of a CD player screen ...

Am I doing something wrong ?

Oh by the way, I also tried using OpenGl which 1st got downloaded directly from the internet from within Fpse, but the only difference what that it brought me to the same kind of CD player screen which now had Sony written all over instead of all the menu options ...

I need some help !!!

On my side i'm doing something that will be liked by many people ... a new fast menu (in option) ,graphical, with Covers as Icons, autoscan of ISO directory change and automatic build of menu. And more, a context menu that is Activated when pressing a longtime on a game image, to get somes usefull informations , load your own cover image, and share it to the FPse community! i plan to do that with cheats too.

take a look to what it look like..

Gorgeous!

I'm wondering if you could do something like this? (cos it'lll look nice to swipe and on a big screen too?)

http://wii.spiffy360.com/themes/grhum909/hbc-bleu.jpg

And do games have specific settings yet?

e.g.
Tekken.iso.settings

or
SCH123.settings (Whatever it is)

Then you have defaults in there that most people use but if we want to tweak them we can and the app will load them.

I wonder the legality of including a demo disk from the magazines?

or a PSX homebrew game?

FPse 0.11.70 available to the market:
- Fixed Philosoma freeze and surely more
- Fixed audio track playing
- Added new exclusive EASY menu, which is a grid menu with PS covers.
- Added Context menu for EASY menu with somes usefull information and options:
you can see game name, game license, game size, and load you icon is not found and even share your image! (IE: if you want to recover this image after a reinstall)
- Added compression for uncompressed Disc image (only from Easy context menu)
- Many other fixes

IMPORTANT: FPse does not include anymore Pete bernett audio and opengl video plugins, but only our audio and video Plugins.
We did that to avoid any GPL license violation. SO FPse start by downloading both plugins from internet.
Pete Bernett audio plugin is used when SPUSYNC is on.

Here are source of both plugins:

http://www.fpsece.net/peopsspu109srcforfpse.zip
http://www.fpsece.net/peopsgpuopenglforfpsesrc.zip

The advantage now is that FPse get plugin only one time, so switching from Soft and OpenGL do not force new download.

THanks for feedbacks

Merry Christmas to everybody!
