One more vote here for release without those options! I'm on a Play anyway.

You would make my christmas holidays perfect if you'd release it without that options. It's about playing with OpenGL :) Thanks schtruck!

I use the Droid 3's keyboard anyway :)

Same for me, although I have an evo 3D. The buttons are fine for me without retouch their location. But I expect a lot of the fix for framelimiter and opengl.
Thanks.

In french : Pareil pour moi, même si j'ai un evo 3D. Les boutons sont bien pour moi sans retoucher leur emplacement. Mais j'attends beaucoup le fix du framelimiter et l'opengl.
Merci encore.

Ah yes, almost forgot the framelimiter fix, that was the most important thing for me since I primarily play FF IX.

So far the vote is unanimous - everyone is 100% in favor of releasing without control overlay and screen scaling. I think the general consensus is that since those features are coming anyway, and it'll probably take the same amount of time to get them in regardless, a release now would satisfy those of us who don't use those features now, while those that do use them would be waiting the same amount of time anyway.

Will you be able to upload the new version in time for Christmas, or do market updates require Android Market approval like the Apple App store does? If so, I'm betting the update will be delayed a ton since the holidays are coming up and the people responsible for that stuff are going to be on vacation (I know this time of year every year the Apple App Store gets REALLY slow with updates because of similar reasons).

Anyway, I am seriously chomping at the bit for this next update - OGL, plus the much anticipated DMA/Frameskip fixes means this could likely be THE definitive version of FPSE that fulfills the true promise of near perfect portable PSX emulation!

Yeah I'd say bring it on! Even if I don't get OpenGL :P. Sadly though, my guess is that there's gonna be alot of complaints. People whining about it . Fuck them! The framelimiter fix alone should be awesome :).
