I've been playing Chrono Cross and outside a couple minor oddities, it has played beautifully. However, as soon as I get to the very end of disk 1, it never asks to switch to disk 2. It just goes to a black screen after the "kid" cutscenes and stays black. I've tried to look around for a solution, but can't seem to solve it. Any ideas?

Someone has similar issue recently and his second disk was corrupted and he has renewed the second disk 1nd it worked

I tried this, and it didn't seem to help. I think it must be something to do with the first disk image, as it never even asks to change to disk 2. Bummer. I don't want to lose my progress and start over.

Update. Problem solved. It wasn't actually the end of the disk. It was just freezing after a cutscenes. I enabled 'boost mode" to push it through and saved after.
