Mainly of interest if ripping from original game disc
i decided to write a quick guide after a few problems in game specific help being down to antipiracy which people may not have come across before. If your game gets to menu screen then wont go further, something strange happens at the very start, or a squaresoft game, i would see if you game is in the list here http://www.ngemu.com/misc.php?action=ppf or more http://consolecopyworld.com/psx/psx_patches.shtml (better)
if it is then -

download patch specific to your game
if the patch comes with an exe just put iso in same folder and click the exe to patch but most zips just come with 2 files
for wich you need to
download ppf-0-matic3 - http://rapidshare.com/files/67036113/PP ... ic_3.0.zip
unzip
run ppf-o-matic3
click iso and find your game iso
click patch and find patch you downloaded
click apply

then your game will be free from anti piracy

you can also use the link and tools above to apply trainers(cheat patch) in the same way. pm or post if need more help.

thanks for moving cloud hopefully will be of use to some people. the way you edited it in the tutorials looks better so i will copy it over i can never get the links to appear how you have them tho, im being a newbie i expect
