I chose not to have sound in cutscenes, now the only sound problem I have is sometimes a strange noise for the sound of footsteps only.
All the rest is 100% good for me.

Thanks i900,

I was wondering if there were any special settings you had applied, or anything special you did with the ROM, to make the sounds work?

For me, the music is almost perfect although the timing is sometimes a bit off. However, the sounds are almost all wrong.

Hi everyone, so I have two issues that I was wondering if you all could address. Now, before I start, I do have to say that it was great to read through the .ini setup suggestions because they solved most of my sound issues. I can live with the rest.

The two issues I'm having are #1 multi touch on my HD2 is barely working on VII. Its to the point where its near unplayable because sometimes the controls wont respond even if i try to use one finger at a time. Is there any solution to this at all? Yes I do have the supporter version, and I've added the HD2=1 to the .ini any other ideas?

The second issue is a FFIX issue so i'll post it there I spose.

Thanks in advance

- Haggard

It sounds like you have accidentally set your device to use Stylus mode, where control is gesture-based. Naturally, if FpseCE is expecting gestures, but you are using taps, then it's not going to work. Check that. :)

That all depends what skin you are using. On the default 0.10 skin by AlmightyBob, there is a small PSP icon on the controller config page. When you tap it, it changes to highlight different bits. If the screen is highlighted, that is stylus mode; if the buttons are highlighted, that is normal, button mode; the other mode is the G-Sensor. You want to hightlight just the buttons to turn of stylus mode. :)

Hey guys,

I've installed the latest supporter version and am taking FFVII out for a test drive but when I try and load a save state it closes FPSECE, I've been searching the forums but haven't found a solution (tried changing GFX Driver to 3 but this didn't help).

Any one else having issues here?

I'm not using HLE, it's disabled in config.

Any other options to try?

EDIT: Also can't save to memory card! Says there's no card in the slot even though the memory card is set up in the settings under slot 1 and 2...

The latest update isn't compatible with some savestates from previous versions. It happened with my Crash Bandicoot: Warped savestate. It loaded but video was messed up. Perhaps this is the reason?

Not using old savestates, only just started playing FFVII with fresh copy of FPSECE.

Have checked HLE mode off and bios file in correct directory with pointer to it in .ini.
No frameskip while saving/loading (using HD2 so not needed).
Plenty of free space on 8gig SD card...

Strange, I had a single save state which worked but now I can't replicate it. Perhaps something to do with the sound?

I'm guessing no one else is having this trouble, are you guys able to save to mem card?
