 Re: PSP Emulator?
I prefer the DS because of it's RPGs army. But hey, it's just a matter of opinions, like comparisons between Windows Mobile and Android or Windows and Linux. Everyone has its own point of view : )

 Re: PSP Emulator?
If we're going to go down the path of Operating Systems , it's got to be Linux all the way (even though, sinfully, my laptop is running Windows 7 Ultimate).

 Re: PSP Emulator?
hey smartie kowboy... it was a question
Im no developer, just business man And we all can see a clear oportunity
Hd2 its becoming a most wanted and it doesnt have games like psp or even psx, imagine to be the developer of psp emu, get it?
my question still stands, why isnt there develop for this? is there an issue to make it? slow cellphone hardware?

 Re: PSP Emulator?
Ok the short version wasnt enought. Well you know how long was FPSEce developed? I dont know for sure, But it was really long time. And I mean looong. And let's say that you are developer. And quite good one too. Will you start developing PSP emulator so that devices in five years can actually play stable and fast PSP games? I hope this clears the question why there is no PSP emulator.

 Re: PSP Emulator?
Mhz250 wrote: my question still stands, why isnt there develop for this? is there an issue to make it? slow cellphone hardware? Posts like this always confused me. The PSX's CPU is a MIPS R3000A-family R3051 @ 33.8688 MHz. You need to have at least 1 GHz Snapdragon to emulate games with full speed. The PSP's CPU(s) is a MIPS 4KE or 24KE series 32-bit (MIPS32R2 architecture) CPU split into two cores each operating between 1 and 333 MHz. Now imagine how many GHz you need...

 Re: PSP Emulator?
Q-Ball: As far as I know this is secondary problem. Schtruck started to develop this program in time when devices were really weak right? So non could emulate them but he developed it anyway. The primary problem is how I already suggested is lack of people who would invest so much time to project like PSP emulator. Which leaves us no other way than say: "Oh god, YOU are so awesome FPSEce developers!!"

 Re: PSP Emulator?
But the PSP can emulate PS1 and SNES, if I'm right? The PS1 was not able to emulate SNES, only NES
So for the moment, we can emulate PS1 on our mobile devices, but emulating something that is strong enough to emulate PS1 too........ We can emulate PS1 that can emulate nes, can we emulate PSP that is able to emulate SNES?
That sounds hard
Also Iphone started emulating (very badly) the N64, but nothing I've heard about PSP...
I definitly think PSP is another level.....
Maybe KowboyBebop is right, with a lot of work, it may be possible to emulate one or two PSP games, with very low fps, and we'll wait some years to see a good emulator, with the next gen of CPU
