Post Autoalignement problem, are you experiencing it?(temp. post)
As it seems I'm not experiencing the famous "y Autoalignement problem" (y coordonates lining up and messing multitouch, so that you must put the two parts of the landscape PAD at different levels on the screen), I would like to know if it's iso related.

Indeed I always play with both parts of the transparents Pads at the same level, both at the bottom, and never have problems, I can play racing games perfectly, do combos in tekken, play crash bandicoot, etc.

I still have an old rom (don't want to upgrade unless I know this old rom is not the reason for the fact I don't have the Autoalignement problem), maybe it's the reason...........or not !

So I would like HD2 users to answer these few questions, that would be nice from you and maybe help to get hints about this problem:

1) Do you have the "y Autoalignement problem" ?

-yes always, I absolutly can't use the pads if at same level
-a little, sometimes some buttons or directions won't work if pads are at the same level
-never, I don't even know what you are talking about, I always play with the pads at the same level

2) What is the rom of your HD2 ?

3)Have you installed any tweak that can have an impact on the screen reactions? (BSB tweaks, HD2 tweaks, others...)

So for me:
Quote:
1) never, I don't even know what you are talking about, I always play with the pads at the same level
2) ROM: 1.44.163.3 (70494) FRE
3) BSBtweaks and HD2tweaks+some cabs to reduce sensivity or increase delay to avoid mistakes with the onscreen keyboard

2) What is the rom of your HD2 ?

I think I dont have this y-sync problem. Sometimes it doesnt do what I want, but thats just the way touch buttons works right? SO at the worst, I see it only occasionaly and I play with both PADS down (as seen in my pack)
I have cooked ROM from L26 Ultimate Power 2.0 (so I dont know what packages is he using, but dont have 576MB hack).
I have both BSB and HD2 twekas. I didnt set anything special about screen, just turned down things like "less sensitivity keyboard" and "longer tap time" or how was it called again.

Well I Flashed many L26's ROM and with none i had problem with Multitouch.

EDIT: info about rom to be found, can't find what is in v2.0 (seen v4.5...)

From L26's changelog

• L26LEOV2.0 WM6.5.5 WWE UltimatePower [21891 Com 2]

But it looks like 6.5 to me (small buttons and things)

1. Yes, sometimes (but often enough to set pads bottom left, and top right)

2. Miri HD2 6.5.X V10 EDIT: build (23549)

3. BsbTweaks installed, but sensitivity not adjusted as I prefer higher sensitivity. I had it turned down at one point (increase tap time) but turned that off because I thought fpsece responded better.

Also, I found a good way to test the auto-alignment problem. Just set an overlays in each available slot, make it random and use all buttons. Press along the same axis with two fingers on a dark background and see which ones light up as being pressed.

I've started editing your post with the build of the rom, I can't find accurate info on L26 ultimate power 2.0, but since you had no problem with different L26 roms...

1. Yes... just noticed it properly now in tekken. Most games seem to be fine for me though. Ive only just noticed in tekken because there is one move you can do with Lei that makes him instantly switch to snake style. If you press back and hold circle and x together Lei will face in the opposite direction to his opponent. Then press down and circle and x together once more... Lei will do a sweep kick and move straight into Snake style. I found that this is not easily doable with both buttons and pad on same level due to the auto alignment problem. Again though... most other games i havent noticed it.

2. 1.66.405.2 (76641) WWE

3. I have both BSB Tweaks and HD2tweaks installed. I dont use BSB for anything to do with screen (not even rotation) but i do use HD2Tweaks to increase sensitivity of the screen as it is less sensistive with 1.66 rom then 1.43 rom.

So far, I can't find any logical information comming from the WinMo build....
Why the hell do some have it bad, and some not at all, if not because of different registry settings or different versions of the touch drivers??!
