Post Optical Mouse As Analog Stick
So, I was thinking...
The analog mouse pad on our omnia's works just the same way that the onscreen analog stick does. Is there not ability to utilize that instead of the onscreen overlays?
I do know that if you set it as an optical mouse, the cursor shows up over fpsece and is active.
Is this something that has even been tried or will it just be way too much work?

It wouldn't work. The analog mouse in Omnia works like a touchpad on a notebook. That means it cannot detect "permanent" pression over it, it just detects the movements. So you could move to the right, but it would move just a little. You can try it with ScummVM on WinMo and you'll understand.

I noticed that with other emulators, but that was using it as a d-pad. I thought it could be different with your analog support.
That optical thing is one of the dorkiest things I've ever seen.
