I agree that it is not the fastest, but I'm only really bothered about the Final Fantasy series, which work fine for me. I'm still getting an HD2 though.

Yeah that's true Final Fantasy is very playable on the X1... But the latest "HD2 FPSEce" Youtube clips were very impressive... too impressive to stay with my X1 xD

What I got when I first tried each driver was: 0 = GDI: Very low resolution, not really playable. The menu was HUGE1 = GAPI: Didn't work. Probably because I'm currently on WinMo 6.5. 2 = LFB QVGA: Didn't try it because I figured LFB VGA would be more suitable to my WVGA screen. 3 = LFB VGA: What I use at the moment. 100% speed on FFVII (frameskip on world map and in battles) and Castlevania SotN. 4 = DirectX: Doesn't work. The screen doesn't update unless I put the phone to sleep then wake it again. Repeat ad infinitum. *EDIT* I don't know about anyone else, but under recommendation from Schtruck, I enabled ArmCoreMMX. It gave me a bit of a boost in fps. I tried number 4 it didn't crash my phone . It made it alittle smoother,How much did Schtruck said it was supposed to improve performance by?

Re: v0.10 Xperia X1 performance and configuration
The latest update has made DirectX stop crashing the program, but if I enable ARMCoreMMX, it does crash without fail now. I say DirectX doesn't crash it, but what I mean is it doesn't immediately crash it. If I have a game running for an extended period of time (10 minutes or so) it randomly exits to my home screen. This doesn't happen with other graphics drivers, so there must still be bugs with DirectX.

What kind of Video Drivers do have installed in your phone besides the stock one, EX: Driver Pack 3, X2video driver, SJ Samsung Omnia_Driver_D3D...........? What excatly does the ARMCoreMMX do to our MSM7200A. And one last thing can you test out Soul Reaver and see what setting will work good for it . Edit: some more questions, What does the CD cache do and can we increase the cache size from16384? And what does CPUMode2 do? Will this have any effect on our processor sense it's Dual Core ? EDIT: I know what your talking about now , When I changed to DirectX I didn't know the games that I had already installed were not changed, That you had to change them in their conifg files. I figured this out when I tried playing new games and they crashed every time I ran them lol.

Re: v0.10 Xperia X1 performance and configuration
Which games offer the highest frames per second? I mean as we all know the games are playable on the X1 but theyre slower than realtime (Tekken 3 and Gran Turismo specifically) Would be nice to hear of some games that are not so power hungry, but still nice and playable if any of you have any?
Personal results Tekken 3: 9-12FPS (with patch=48 in games ini) & Frame skip set to 0.(Hard to play so slow)
Gran Turismo 2: 16-18FPS Without Frame skip, 23-28 with Frame skip set to 2. (One thing you'd want to remember when playing Gran Turismo 2..you need to bring Frameskip back to 0 when the race is finished..otherwise it just Hangs on the Menu Screen replaying the replay repeatedly ...so just to make sure I'm being clear..Only use the Frame skip DURING a race, and soon as the race is over, switch frame skip back to 0.
Another thing, for all games on the X1, you want ArmCoreMMX=off the device doesnt support it (both games I tested above crash with it on, but work with it off)
So does anyone have any recomendations for games that provide high FPS and are not so power hungry?

Re: v0.10 Xperia X1 performance and configuration
Hey! On my X1 games works as a crap(tested Vagrant Story, Tekken 3, Gran Turismo, GTA2, Yeti Sports, Chrono Trigger)... For example i've tried to play "GTA2" on FPSECE Free v0.10. I didn't change fpse.ini, it was as after the installation. On compatibility list it is written "Full playable on slow devices 400MHz". My X1 has got 528Mhz and it isn't even playable. There is 15-25FPS... Why could it be? Maybe that's why that i don't have new version(wich i can't support because of my financial, so i'm still waiting for new free version ). Anyone could help me to resolve this problem?

Don't know why it's not working too clever for you. Have you made sure to use as little of the phones resources before starting the emulator? What I normally do if I'm planning on a long FpseCE session, is go on a black panel, like the facebook one (without signing in).

Re: v0.10 Xperia X1 performance and configuration
Omg... stop making an argue about intelligence... I have 99% free memory of CPU and 80% of free memory I use stock X1 rom, i don't like when something is working slow for me.
So what could it be?
