Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

It's back up for me, and the HD software mode looks great. However, now the app gives me a license check failed a few minutes after I load a game, even if I'm connected to the internet. It crashed once too, but I was opening and closing games like mad (to see how the software mode looks). I'm finall...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

It blows my mind that people seriously use the "I paid money and have expectations" routine with inexpensive and complex android apps. They're doing the best they can and are looking into it. If you paid $50 for this app, i.e. the price of one game, then I'd be pissed off. You're getting a...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

I have a feeling that these issues are related - the server hosting both this site and the DRM/plugins may be one and the same, and the server is having connectivity issues.

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

TLDR: How do I back up the saved data. The memory cards and save states should be rather evident if you navigate to FPse's directory on your phone's directory browser/plugged into a computer. EDIT: Memory card files are transferable from PSX emulator to PSX emulator, just rename the memory card ext...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Hello there, May I just add a couple of things: -The plugins downloaded fine when I was using my mobile network (3G or 2G) rather than WiFi for some reason. That didn't work for me, trying mobile networks. Using LTE, 4G, and whatever the heck the E network is didn't allow me to download plugins. I ...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Yeah, I'm definitely having the plugin issue as well. I'm getting a little frustrated. I'm amazed at the fact that there are working emulators at all for systems of this complexity. I was blown away by the HD software mode for certain games - this is how those games were meant to look. The technical...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Interesting - I tried renaming one of the games that had no title, and it worked. However, it crashed on me, and every time I open the app it crashes. Very strange.

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

I know it's crazy but that's what the smooth software is. I believe it's called "OpenGL blitting" or something like that - the app renders in software and OpenGL filters each frame. Now... imagine HD Software with that filter.... Anyway, yes, the cover bit is annoying. I'm just really happ...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

- Added Multi core option for gpu software in OPenGL mode , FPse is twice faster! THE USUAL "FPSE IMPROVEMENT CLAIM". ARE YOU STATING THAT EVERY GAME NOW HAS 2x FPS IN OPENGL? IN WHICH PLUGIN? STANDARD OR EXPERIMENTAL? PLEASE BE MORE SPECIFIC He's talking about software mode with the Open...
