Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

So no comment on the performance issues in the new version shtruck?

Also, my phone seems to heat up like lava after playing for 15 minutes. On older versions I played for about two hours straight (!) and it didn't heat up like that.

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

In the latest version there is a noticeable slowdown in both gameplay and audio.
FFIX drops down to 50/40 fps frequently and the audio slows down too. Before it constantly ran at 60fps with perfect audio.

To your attention Schtruck.

Re: Any plan to get eBoot files working in this great app?

rushmore wrote:Any plans in getting eBoots file to work too? eBoot formatted roms take up a fraction of space of other file versions. That is about the only advantage PSX4Droid has. That is the only advantage.

Thanks!

Also the performance is much better with eBoots AFAIK, right?

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

If only the Xperia Play was a Tegra/A9 device I'd totally get it.. what a shame. schtruck: I've noticed that the final fantasy menu slowdown issue seems to go away and come back randomly while playing. IE: I load a ROM, play for a bit and it's fine. Then I do a savestate/loadstate and it comes back ...

Open GL/GPU acceleration

Okay, a few questions:

As of right now, is FPSe using GPU acceleration?
And if not, what's the status of making it so? And how will it affect speed/image quality?
