Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

No glitches in sound but latency is still too high. SPUSync=off is on par with older FPse versions, SPUSync=on is unusable (~+700ms).

R.I.P.

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Audio latency:
SpuSync off: better (probably like old versions, not perfect but way better than spusync on)
Spusync on: still high latency (no change here?)

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

How can i enforce aspect ratio in landscape mode? I mean there are neither 16:9 PSX games nor 4:3 Androids. Also 'enforce portrait mode' is still missing.

That's true indeed. I notice it in FPse, Snes9x and Mame4All as well. But as stated before there's a solution for it. I guess they all use audio class default values that are too conservative.

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

The reason for audio lag is very likely a way too large audio buffer. I get the same audio lag with Snes9X-EX v1.5.8 as well. Fortunately, it allows to individually tweak that buffer making the lag nearly unnoticeable indeed. It uses abstracted values in the frontend (10 frames -> 3 frames audio buf...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

v11.83 works great so far but the sound lags like +700ms on Galaxy SIII (Exynos 4412, Mali-400). On Galaxy S Plus (MSM8255T Snapdragon S2, 1.4 GHz Scorpion CPU, Adreno 205 GPU) it had better sound (less latency). Last version i tested there was something around 11.75 though. Is there something i can...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

I hope you make that auto-config stuff optional in the future. I doesn't make much sense to be forced using specific settings especially on all the different devices.

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

I forgot to say that all is Bilinear filtertered now in opengl when filtering is no, no more blocky gfx... Just in case you want to improve filtering by prescaling . It's less blurry but preserves subpixel precision and the ability to scale freely just by simple prescaling. Should be very easy to i...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

@bluezeak: I don't have any sound issues. Just cosmetics (the options don't stick). But as you said they are not of much use for my hardware there's no real problem here. do you see all the cheats on your cheat list? Yes, i can see all codes (only tested one game so far though). There's a weird entr...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Cheats don't work here either but they do seem to poke something in memory because they produce strange side effects in some games. I'm using confirmed (in previous version working) codes as well. Some options are not persistent (enable hardware acceleration, enhanced audio). They are disabled again...
